EXETER STORM VC COACHING TEAM

Coach: Arthur Mosley

 

Arthur Mosley is a Level 3 Coach and a former Staff Coach of the England Volleyball Association. As a player, Arthur first played for England in 1966 and went on to captain Great Britain from 1967 to 1969. He was the first British player to achieve 50 international caps and was inducted into the Don Anthony Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2010. 

 

As coach to Exeter College Volleyball Team he took them to 5 British Colleges finals, winning once and finishing runners-up four times. He also steered Team ExColl to 6 titles in Division 1 of the Exeter & District League. 

 

As coach to Exeter Storm VC, Arthur successfully led the club's main team to their first South West League title in season 2012-13.

Coach: Nick Hitt

 

Nick Hitt is a Level 3 Volleyball Coach. He played for numerous teams in England and has represented the country at Junior and Senior Men’s level. He has played for the Great Britain Men’s Volleyball Team from 1998 – 2004 at various international tournaments. In addition, he was one of the first cohort of scholarship players to benefit from full-time, coaching, training and playing as part of the Great Britain National Development programme.


His coaching credentials are numerous as well. He has coached junior, women’s and men’s team during the last 13 years. Most notably, he has enabled Exeter Heat Volleyball team to become not only South West League winners (2002-3), but also guided them into National League status. He has had the opportunity to coach regional and junior England players, enabling them to move on to successful volleyball careers.


His most recent venture with Exeter Storm has brought together his coaching partnership with Arthur Mosley, as well as his own unique method of delivering a high performance volleyball team. He is ambitious and passionate about achieving excellence in all players he has the privilege to coach.
